Position Summary

OMG Federal is proactively identifying talented professionals who embody our entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to service. This position is not currently funded but is expected as part of upcoming program requirements. Candidates will be notified as funding and hiring timelines are confirmed. We are currently looking for a Salesforce Technical Architect. The right candidate will lead the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions within a large-scale, multi-org federal environment. This role requires deep expertise in enterprise architecture, integration strategies, and platform development, as well as the ability to guide modernization efforts across cloud-based SaaS ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead end-to-end Salesforce architecture across multi-org enterprise environments
  • Design scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with federal standards and mission needs
  • Develop and oversee enterprise integration architectures, including API and middleware strategies
  • Provide technical leadership across Salesforce development efforts, including Apex, Lightning, and platform capabilities
  • Guide CI/CD pipeline implementation using Git, DevSecOps practices, and automated deployment strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud modernization and large-scale SaaS transformations
  • Ensure alignment with governance, security, and compliance requirements in federal environments
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and best practices to optimize system performance and scalability
  • Support technical decision-making and provide mentorship to development and engineering teams

Required Qualifications

  • Ten plus (10+) years of solution or technical architecture experience
  • Seven plus (7+) years of Salesforce architecture experience
  • A bachelor's degree in a closely related field is strongly desired; a high school diploma is required
  • Proven experience in multi-org Salesforce environments
  • Strong background in enterprise integration architecture, including APIs and middleware
  • Hands-on knowledge of Apex, Lightning, and Salesforce platform development
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and DevSecOps practices
  • Experience supporting cloud modernization initiatives and large-scale SaaS environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Federal Civilian agencies or DHS environments
  • Demonstrated success delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions within federal contracting frameworks
  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) strongly preferred
  • Salesforce Application Architect
  • Salesforce System Architect
  • Platform Developer II
  • Integration Architect
  • MuleSoft certifications (nice to have)

Work Environment & Schedule

  • Full-time remote role
  • Periodic travel to client meetings, planning sessions, or program events as needed
  • Standard business hours with flexibility based on project requirements
