About the Role

Madison Ave Consulting is seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst – Product-Focused to support the delivery of high-impact solutions across our professional services and managed services portfolio. This role blends deep business analysis expertise with product-oriented thinking, making it ideal for someone who understands both the technical and strategic aspects of Salesforce implementations.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce, including requirements gathering, stakeholder engagement, and product ownership responsibilities. Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange solutions and managed packages in enterprise environments is essential.

This position may involve occasional travel to meet with clients, attend industry events and conventions, and represent Madison Ave Consulting at product showcases and Salesforce-focused engagements.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the Salesforce roadmap, aligning platform capabilities with client and business priorities 
  • Lead requirement gathering, stakeholder discovery, and scope definition sessions
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating needs into actionable deliverables
  • Manage the product backlog, write user stories, and plan sprints and release cycles
  • Partner with Engineering, Professional Services, and Product teams to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions
  • Collaborate on UAT, go-live planning, and post-implementation support
  • Triage requests and bugs, prioritize enhancements, and ensure timely resolution
  • Coordinate and deliver product demos to internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Track KPIs and usage metrics, reporting outcomes and ROI of initiatives to leadership
  • Champion user-centric design and continuous improvement based on feedback and data
  • Stay informed of Salesforce AppExchange solutions and how managed packages can support our clients
  • Contribute to the evolution of our internal processes and tooling for delivery and support
  • 3+ years of experience in a Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar hybrid role within the Salesforce ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, configuration, and implementation best practices
  • Proven experience delivering Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud
  • Hands-on experience gathering and translating requirements, building user stories, and managing scope
  • Familiarity with Salesforce AppExchange products and managed package capabilities
  • Confident collaborating with developers, architects, and stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience with Salesforce triage and backlog management in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present demos and product updates to clients and leadership
  • Willingness to travel for client engagements, events, and product showcases
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to shifting business needs
Nice to Have
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, etc.)
  • Experience working at or with a Salesforce consulting partner or ISV
  • Background in the healthcare, tech, or nonprofit sectors
  • Familiarity with managed package lifecycle, versioning, and AppExchange security review
  • Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD tools (e.g., Gearset, Copado)
