About the Salesforce Platform Solution Architect PositionThe Salesforce Platform Solution Architect role will be responsible for designing and implementing customized solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet the specific needs of clients or organizations. Responsibilities include providing support during discovery, designing technical solutions, providing leadership to development teams, and ensuring the quality of Salesforce implementations. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration, as well as strong communication and problem-solving skills. A successful Salesforce Solution Architect collaborates closely with clients and stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions that align with business objectives..
Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Designing scalable, maintainable, and high-performing solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet business requirements. This involves understanding business processes, gathering requirements, and translating them into technical designs.
- Salesforce Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of the Salesforce platform including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, and other Salesforce products. Proficiency in configuring and customizing Salesforce using declarative tools like Process Builder, Flow, and custom development using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, etc.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams. Collaborate with stakeholders including business users, project managers, developers, and administrators to ensure successful implementation and delivery of Salesforce solutions.
- Solution Documentation: Create comprehensive solution documentation including technical design documents, data models, and integration architecture diagrams.
- Integration: Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs, middleware, and other integration tools.
- Best Practices: Stay current with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices. Advocate for and enforce best practices in Salesforce development and configuration.
- Client Interaction: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, gather requirements, and present proposed solutions. Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of Salesforce solutions through code reviews, testing, and adherence to coding standards.
Qualifications
- At least one Level 4 Salesforce Architect Certification (System Architect, Application Architect, B2B Solution Architect, B2C Solution Architect, Technical Architect)
- 4+ Years of experience in the platform working on and designing solutions.
- Experience in Integration design and implementation.
- Experience leading implementations and projects. Including doing code review, apex test validation, deployment validation.
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Lightning Flows, Visualforce Pages, and Integration.
- CPQ Knowledge is preferable but not required.
- Mulesoft Knowledge is preferable but not required.
