About the Team/Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce Technical Architect to join our growing team. As a Technical Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering complex Salesforce solutions that fuel our platform transformation goals in support of Wex's growth. You will be a trusted advisor and technical leader, guiding our partners and internal teams through the entire implementation lifecycle.

How you'll make an impact

  • Solution Design:

    • Lead the technical design of Salesforce solutions, including data models, integrations, security, and customizations.

    • Translate business requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions.

    • Evaluate and recommend appropriate Salesforce technologies and approaches.

    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and design specifications.

  • Development and Implementation:

    • Oversee the development and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

    • Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to developers.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

    • Manage technical risks and dependencies.

  • Collaboration and Leadership:

    • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and developers.

    • Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

    • Mentor and guide junior technical team members.

    • Stay current with the latest Salesforce technologies and trends.

Experience you'll bring

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect or in a similar role.

  • Extensive experience with Salesforce platform configuration and customization.

  • Hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce development technologies.

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.

  • Experience with data migration and integration tools.

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (preferred) or equivalent certifications.

  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect is a plus.

The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
