We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality solutions across complex Salesforce ecosystems. In this role, you will work as part of a strategic, embedded delivery team supporting enterprise-level initiatives. You will collaborate closely with client stakeholders and R&P teammates to build Salesforce solutions that enhance business operations and elevate customer experience. This work is meaningful, visible, and central to modernizing mission-critical workflows. You’ll combine deep platform expertise with strong engineering fundamentals to create solutions that are robust, maintainable, and crafted with care.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Engineering & Solution Development
- Design, develop, and enhance Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Triggers, Batch Apex, Flows and platform APIs.
- Build prototypes to validate requirements, support decision-making, and guide architectural direction.
- Deliver clean, well-structured code that aligns with platform best practices and R&P engineering standards.
- Support the creation of reusable libraries, patterns, and components to drive consistency and quality across projects.
Client-Facing Development & Collaboration
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to refine requirements and propose effective technical approaches.
- Develop customizations, automation, and integrations tailored to enterprise operational needs.
- Contribute to solution design discussions across the full development lifecycle.
- Support release processes, including documentation, deployment workflows, and post-release stabilization.
Integration Engineering & Platform Architecture
- Build integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST, SOAP, Bulk, and Streaming APIs.
- Participate in architectural planning to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with architects, designers, and engineers to deliver cohesive end-to-end experiences across Salesforce and connected platforms.
Quality, Testing & Release Management
- Write and maintain unit tests to support predictable, stable deployments.
- Participate in peer code reviews and apply feedback to continuously strengthen engineering quality.
- Collaborate with QA and engineering teams to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.
Collaboration, Communication & Mentorship
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product, design, and delivery leads to translate requirements into elegant technical solutions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, elevating Salesforce craftsmanship across teams.
- Support project managers and sales partners with technical insights, estimates, and solution recommendations.
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and Salesforce practice development.
Community Engagement & Innovation
- Stay active within the Salesforce ecosystem, tracking new platform capabilities and emerging best practices.
- Share insights through internal workshops, external forums, or community participation.
- Champion innovative approaches that expand what’s possible on Salesforce.
Required Skills & Experience
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
- Salesforce Certified Developer (required); Platform Developer I/II or App Builder preferred.
- Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and platform APIs.
- Strong background integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems using SOAP, REST, Bulk, and Streaming APIs.
- Ability to operate autonomously and collaborate across distributed teams.
