About the Role

The Salesforce Data Cloud Technical Lead will play an integral leadership role in the high satisfaction of A360’s clients through the design & delivery of scalable, high quality complex solutions for and with our clients. The Technical Lead responsible for owning the overall design of the technical application, Solution Reviews, Deployments as well as recommending best practice solutions based on client business needs and leads teams of developers on projects and internally as a manager. This role demands rigorous knowledge of CDP architecture and use cases, cost-conscious solution design, and leadership experience in guiding a development team. The buck stops with you.

You will work closely with all team members, including project managers, solution architects and developers as well as client product owners, subject matter experts, technology resources and executives. You possess a passion for problem-solving, details and analysis to help teams and clients succeed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Participate in and sometimes lead client discovery & refinement sessions to understand the project scope, especially for deep, technical conversations
  • Drive all phases of project implementation including discovery, impact analysis, solution design, development, deployment and post go live support
  • Document and present solution artifacts such as architecture diagrams, data models, data flows, consumption estimates, cutover planning, etc. that can be executed by developers
  • Identify and communicate dependencies, risks and mitigation strategies to key stakeholders
  • Hire and mentor and lead a global team of developers
  • Demonstrate technical thought leadership both internally and externally - developing learning & development roadmaps for team members and forward-looking POVs for customers
  • Continuously define, articulate and drive best practices, standard processes for solutions and emerging concepts to our internal team members to ensure success across all A360 projects
  • Identify and lead internal critical initiatives to grow our technology practice
  • Support sales with scoping and estimation
  • Support marketing with thought leadership content and partnership building

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a relationship based, customer facing role as a technical lead or architect
  • Expertise in complex data flow architecture
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a consulting environment
  • Minimum 4 years experience implementing marketing automation solutions including CDPs for enterprise customers
  • Minimum 2 years Experience with agile project methodology including the basics of backlog management, user story definition and components, acceptance criteria and sprint planning
  • Salesforce Certified Data Cloud Consultant or other related certifications are a plus 
  • Thorough understanding of the CDP upstream and downstream ecosystem
  • Working understanding of all phases of the application development life cycle and understand SDLC/ Waterfall and Agile concepts 
  • Familiarity with cloud based, enterprise level packaged applications
  • Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable (potential for up to 20% travel)
  • Able to work US Eastern Standard Time Hours
