About the Role

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player with experience in managing project resources and coordination from a technical standpoint. You must set and achieve objectives, ensure both top quality and project control, handle client and vendor interactions, and act as the subject matter expert. 

Previous hands-on Salesforce administration or consulting experience is essential. Existing Salesforce certifications or proven success in Salesforce implementations are required.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical product architecture and development expertise for Salesforce CPQ implementation projects.
  • Assess current business processes and pain points and articulate how Salesforce and CPQ can address those challenges.
  • Demonstrate Salesforce CPQ thought leadership and educate clients on Salesforce platform best practices and ensure adherence across the implementation team.
  • Support the entire Salesforce CPQ implementation roadmap, from design to deployment, user adoption, and ongoing improvements.
  • Provide Salesforce CPQ expertise during sales efforts to estimate the technical level of effort.
  • Lead and facilitate the process of recommending solutions or improvements, including reviewing options achievable through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
  • Design applications that align with long and short-term IT and business strategies and provide integration expertise across the organization.
  • Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of developing integration solutions, from conception to launch and post-launch support.
  • Adapt to changing priorities, address issues promptly and professionally, and manage project timelines effectively in line with the Project Manager.
  • Act as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor, and change agent within the organization.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of object-oriented approaches in program design, implementation, testing, and debugging.
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders to understand use cases and translate them into technical solutions within the Salesforce CPQ and Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations to clients on their validity and potential benefits.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 4+ Years of Salesforce Implementation/Consulting Experience
  • 2+ full lifecycle Salesforce CPQ or Industries CPQ projects with strong implementation expertise
  • 2 years leading design and solutioning for Salesforce implementations
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ capabilities, best practices and limitations, and the ability to clearly communicate those to key stakeholders
  • Experience building flow process software, including LucidChart, Visio, or another tool 
  • Ability to architect high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform
  • Strong client relations and teamwork skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Familiar with either Scrum or Agile project methodologies
  • Salesforce Service Cloud (Preferred)
  • Salesforce Experience Cloud (Preferred)
