Niyam is seeking a Senior Salesforce Consultant to join our team in support of our work with FEMA. We offer competitive compensation and benefits.  This position is remote, but may require occasional onsite meetings in DC. DC/Northern VA area is preferred. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving process improvements and requirement gathering and analysis to bring the org beyond the MVP version that was previously developed.
• Assess current state Salesforce processes against Salesforce best practices.
• Define the future state processes, working together with Program Area liaisons and the Salesforce architect.
• Gather business, synthesize, and translate requirements into process flow diagrams and user stories. 
• Participate in the creation of prototypes and proof of concepts and demonstrate solution functionality to stakeholders.
• Support the development of High Level and Functional Designs.
• Translate requirements into functional designs. Know when to code vs. configure. (Apex knowledge desired but not required)
• Develop and present solution options to client, evaluating the pros and cons of the proposed solution.

• Design data models, support data migration, and data integrity activities. Develop strategies for data cleansing, transformation, and integration with external systems.

• Support configuration and testing as needed.

• Conduct training and workshops on Salesforce best practices, new features, emerging technologies, and industry trends.

• Ability to serve as a liaison between both business and technical teams to drive effective, timely solutions that fulfill both strategic and operational needs. 
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and business analysts.

Qualification and Education Requirements

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Salesforce Consulting or related roles.
• Experience using Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodology.
• Salesforce Service Cloud Certification.

• Experience leading/facilitating requirement meetings during business requirement gathering sessions or design discussions.
• Salesforce Service Cloud Certification.

• Customer service minded.
• Solutions oriented and results driven.

• Proactive, take initiative, hand-on approach.
• Attention to detail.
• Team player with collaborative approach to solving problems.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Salesforce Experience Cloud Certified.
• Scrum training and/or certifications.
• Experience with Salesforce AI implementation.
• Experience designing and implementing Salesforce enhancements and process improvements.
• Multiple project experience in Salesforce design, implementation, deployment, and O&M support.
• Ability to apply organizational knowledge of customer and system processes in problem analysis.
