We are looking for a product and application expert who will become a part of the overall sales process with the objective to drive revenue. This person will engage with prospective customers by working closely with the Sales and Product Management teams.
What you will do:
Assist District and Inside sales teams in presenting the Toast product and platform to prospects
Become an expert in the product with complete knowledge of the technologies and the application software
Learn to identify the prospect’s business challenges and whether to position the value of the Toast platform and/or the partner ecosystem as a solution
Clearly communicate gaps in product/market fit to Product Management and Product Marketing teams
Work closely with Sales Enablement regionally to provide training and product expertise
Attend trade shows and other events as a Toast brand ambassador
Works under supervision of the Director, Solutions Engineering
Must have ability to work closely with Product Management, Sales Enablement, and Marketing teams
Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision
A strong spirit and energy to provide the best support in the restaurant industry
Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment
Travel 30% or more
Do you have the right ingredients?
- Minimum two years hospitality or related industry experience required
- Ability to handle complex customer communications fluently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills
- POS knowledge required
- Restaurant operations experience a plus
- Ability to manage multiple customer implementations simultaneously working in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail oriented
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Must have ability to work closely with Product Management
- Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision
