The role of the Senior Manager, Technology Partnerships is to ensure Indigo can execute on its strategic plan through expanding Indigo’s portfolio of alliances that deliver complementary technology solutions. Responsibilities include providing thought leadership on external technologies relevant to Indigo’s mission, identifying external partners, coordinating technical assessments, partnering with the transaction team to create a transactional framework, developing collaboration plans that ensure objectives are met, and participating in the management of collaborations assuring that collaborators see Indigo as a best-in-class industry partner. The scope of partnerships would include research and/ or services collaborations, sponsored research and in-licensed technology. We are looking for a senior manager who has prior experience managing a portfolio of technology partnerships, networking through active outreach to aligned organizations, and management of contractual relationships, including collaborations. This role will be responsible for measuring and maximizing the value derived from each alliance. The Senior Manager, Technology Partnerships will partner with Product Management, R&D, Project Management and Legal teams to achieve the best outcomes for Indigo and our partners.
Responsibilities:
- Creates a clear tech scouting strategy, with clear priorities and processes identified
- Increase and enable R&D capabilities by establishing clear processes to enable a strong pipeline
- Communicate and fill technology pipeline with promising leads
- Enable Indigo to be the partner of choice with new and existing networks
- Attract and develop a team of “A” players
- Understand and embody Indigo’s mission and core values

Qualifications:
- 5+ years professional experience
- Strong industry reputation
- Extensive industrial and academic network
- Experience working with tech transfer offices and diverse research groups
- Experience with scoping and contract language of research projects
- Effective product/project management skills
- Understanding of the Ag space and ability to translate internal needs to drive tech scouting
- Experience managing and developing team of “A” players
- Deep understanding of technical/scientific subjects
