Sales Ops Commission Manager - Burlington, MA



CA|Veracode is looking for a highly driven and dynamic Sales Ops Commission Manager to provide leadership in defining compensation plans based on competitive analysis, market research and budgets that support strategic and financial objectives.

This role will also manage department staff, to include performance management, coaching, conflict resolution and motivating and engaging.

The Sales Ops Commission Manager will perform all assigned functions in sales operations pertaining to supporting the Sales Operations team in the planning and incentive design and operation tasks.

The successful candidate will possess strong modeling and financial skills plus analytical abilities with strong communication and project management skills to maximize the efficiency of sales plans and special incentives.

 

The position will be based in our Burlington, MA office reporting to the Director of Sales Operations.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll help support CA Technologies charter to transform the IT industry.  You will responsible to:

 

  • Support execution of annual commission planning process, including designing incentive plans
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales Operations Business Partners and Finance; support execution of quota setting and coverage analysis.
  • Build and maintain incentive plans, coordinate the plan execution from Design to Plan delivery
  • Monitor sales data and report on efficiency of the plan
  • Update policies and manage plan oversight, including review and documentation of any exceptions or special incentives

The perfect candidate for this role will have a demonstrated record of success in positions of increasing responsibility over the course of their career. She/he will have an outstanding track record and reputation for being proactive, assertive and detail oriented. An ideal background will include:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1-2 years direct experience in a Sales Ops or Sales Finance role
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in management consulting, finance or an analytical role in another technology company related to sales compensation and sales planning
  • Salesforce experience
  • Experience with compensation administration tools
  • Must possess strong analytical, model building and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing deadlines
  • Always focused on doing what’s right for the business. High energy and contagious enthusiasm
  • Works with little oversight
  • Able to speak in front of senior audiences as well as write clearly, concisely and compellingly
  • Willing and able to roll-up the sleeves to get things done
