Tamr is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to join our Revenue Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for the processes, tools, and technologies that support the Sales, Growth and Finance organizations. You will play a key role in providing our sales team with the tools, training, technologies and support needed to help them identify and close more deals. This role demands an exceptional understanding of Salesforce.com, the sales process, and an ability to translate requirements into appropriate workflows. Our ideal candidate is someone with a strong understanding of the sales cycle who can be a patient and energetic teacher and serve as the link between operations, marketing and sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day operational support of Salesforce.com including managing users, creating and maintaining custom objects and fields, handling bulk data migration, and maintenance of page layouts
  • Ensure the effective administration of Salesforce and identify and implement new Salesforce features and functions in response to business needs
  • Build appropriate solutions in Salesforce based on user feedback and error resolution
  • Provide support to the CRO and Head of Growth in preparing relevant data reports and slides for Board and Investor meetings, and any quarterly or annual planning as needed by the business
  • Develop relationships and processes with Sales, Finance, Growth, and other stakeholders to identify and address reporting requirements. Work closely to help oversee system reporting and coordination with outsourced teams supporting the sales function.
  • Create and maintain insightful reports, dashboards, workflow rules and sharing rules that help the Sales, Growth and Finance teams focus on performance drivers
  • Coordinate CRM and sales tool training and user access for new and existing hires 
  • Organize and host weekly Sales Enablement meetings
  • Maintain operational understanding of best-in-class sales technology solutions to translate the value they deliver (or could) to management, including tools like Salesforce, LeanData, ZoomInfo, Outreach and analytics platforms
  • Maintain salesforce best practices at all times including data hygiene, data accuracy and overall data quality of Tamr’s CRM system

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3-5+ years related work experience 
  • Excellent time management and project management skills and the ability to perform duties with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and working with large data sets
  • Experience gathering business requirements, defining an implementation plan and orchestrating an update to Salesforce.com
  • Experience with sales enablement training
  • Experience using Salesforce.com and administering backend updates, Salesforce Administrator Certification strongly preferred
  • Experience with data visualization tools preferred (Tableau, Qlik, etc.)
  • Experience with Marketing Automation tools preferred (Hubspot, Marketo etc.)
  • Adaptable to our rapid growth and evolving strategic priorities

Additional Information


This position is available in the United States, east coast preferred. Must be willing to commute or travel to Cambridge MA on occasion.
