ezCater is the world’s largest online marketplace for catering – a $60+ billion market in the U.S. We make it superbly easy for businesspeople to find and order great food for meetings and events, and we help our catering partners grow their business. We’re backed by $320 million in venture funding and valued at over $1 billion. Our mission is to power the world’s catering, and we’ll make it happen – even more surely if you come help us.

In the Sales Enablement Coordinator role, you’ll be a key cross-functional collaborator for ezCater's sales teams, all while reporting into our Sales Operations team. ezCater Sales Operations is the workflow engine powering our sales, success, and post-sale teams. We simultaneously enable our internal teams to help customers place the perfect order and to help our partners grow their catering businesses. Specifically in this Sales Enablement Coordinator role, you will be supporting our Enterprise Sales teams by creating customized, effective content for the sales cycle.

Simply put, you’ll be creating pitch decks, one pagers and other sales enablement content, in addition to helping create personas based on our partners and customers. You’ll be arming our Enterprise Sales teams with materials to pitch more effectively and shorten the time to close. You’ll also be insanely helpful and address ad hoc needs from reps as they pop up. It's an awesome opportunity for a skilled wordsmith to grow their career in supporting revenue-earning teams, all the while being able to see direct impact from their work in the company's overall growth.

You will

  • Create written content to help sales reps close deals such as pitch decks, case studies, competitive information fact sheets, product collateral, and custom work
  • Field ad hoc content requests and support requests from the Sales team
  • Manage multiple projects across the supply and demand side of our business — you’ll be learning and addressing the needs of our catering partners, as well as our customers
  • Streamline cross-departmental communication across Sales, Marketing, and Product to ensure we’re delivering consistent messaging
  • Organize & Collate pain points and feedback from the Sales team on a regular basis to constantly optimize presentation materials and communication processes

You are:

  • An excellent writer: You love writing content and have some experience as a marketer or copywriter.
  • A superb communicator: You’ll be working with various stakeholders and varying levels of the organization, so impeccable communication skills are key.
  • Comfortable receiving feedback: You’ll need to be able to pivot quickly and edit your work after receiving feedback. We’ll work as a team to put forth the best final product.
  • Hungry for change: If something isn’t working, we fix it. And then we fix it again.
  • A circus-level juggler: You’re comfortable with a high-volume list of varied tasks and are comfortable prioritizing them.
  • Design-savvy: You’ve designed PowerPoints and pitch decks; you’re comfortable with the Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or Indesign) or other design software to “wow” our prospects
  • Driven towards excellence: We’ll expect you to consistently meet or exceed expectations on delegated performance objectives.
  • Organized and detail-oriented: You’ve got a planner with color-coded tabs to prioritize the projects you’re working on? Your bookshelf is organized alphabetically? Perfect!

Please include a cover letter, but throw everything that is ‘best practice’ about writing cover letters out the window, and please write as explicitly as possible what resonates with you about this job.
