Sales Development Representative

JOB SUMMARY:
The Sales Development Representative will focus on setting qualified appointments for our Sales team. This is achieved through managing the lead lifecycle including, but not limited to: pre-call research and planning, cold calling, creating email-based communications, and following up on marketing generated leads. The SDR will qualify all leads to meet basic qualification standards with the goal of closing for a meeting with aligned sales reps. This position can be located in either our Hopkinton, MA or Sarasota, FL offices.
SPECIFIC DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop high level interest with decision makers via phone and email
Qualify potential opportunities through consultative conversations
Ensure alignment between prospect challenges and PrismHR’s capabilities
Set qualified appointments for follow-up by assigned sales rep
Manage prospecting status, and accurate account data in Salesforce CRM
Meet daily and weekly activity-based metrics (Dials, Conversations, Qualified Opportunities, Meetings Delivered)
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
2+ years qualifying and setting appointments for an ASO or PEO strongly preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or a related field from an Accredited College or University
Extremely tech-savvy with exceptional business acumen and the ability to effectively present the company’s solutions to prospective customers
Top-notch oral and written communication abilities
Hands-on experience of a modern CRM system, such as Salesforce.com
Experience in SaaS, Cloud, or HRIS sales preferred
Familiarity with Lead Information Providers like Discover.org, ZoomInfo and Contact Management platforms like gong.io, outreach.io, or salesloft is preferred
