Inside Account Executive - Boston

As an Inside Account Executive (IAE) you will act as the first contact for many Digi prospects and existing customers with the objective of closing inbound leads, expanding existing accounts and qualifying leads for outside sales representative. Successful IAEs will possess a demonstrated ability to sell solutions in a fast-paced environment. Must be highly competitive, relentless, have the ability to collaborate in a team environment, and possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. The IAE will join a highly successful inside sales team selling IoT solutions to the retail, food service, healthcare and transportation industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Qualify inbound leads, conduct solution demos, prepare quotes, and close sales opportunities
  • Work with existing accounts on expansion / up-sell opportunities
  • Prospecting into target accounts
  • Collaborate with outside sales on larger opportunities
  • Identify and collaborate with internal resources needed to close sales
  • Conduct targeted prospecting and qualification
  • Drive and document sales activities through HubSpot and NetSuite
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly forecast goals

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in enterprise SaaS or technology sales; successful BDR’s looking to transition to an inside sales position will also be considered
  • Self-confident communicator comfortable speaking with executive management; can express ideas in persuasive emails and other written communications
  • Coachability
  • Ability to influence others
  • Conveys a sense of urgency and drives issues to closure
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a true team player
  • Highly competitive

  • Bachelor’s degree
