Director of Sales Operations
We are looking for a sales operations professional to be a strategic partner to Evolv’s global sales team. The person in this role will drive sales growth and productivity as Evolv accelerates growth through the global roll out of Evolv Express and continues to drive Evolv Edge sales in international markets. Responsibilities include:
- Lead the annual sales quota, compensation, and sales organizational planning process
- Manage and update the sales process, forecasting, pipeline management, KPIs, reports, and dashboards in CRM
- Lead and execute the global sales incentive compensation programs, including development and tracking of sales SPIFFs, calculation, communication, and payment of commissions
- Support the sales deal desk and customer contracting processes
- Partner with marketing, solution sales, business operations, global services, manufacturing, customer Experience and other teams to drive cross-functional initiatives and represent the needs of the sales team
- Manage and support global operations for the growing North American and international channel partners through partner vetting, contract support, partner portal, deal registration, distribution of collateral, other partner enablement activities, forecasting, pipeline management, partner KPIs and dashboards
- Lead and grow the sales operations team to enable and support the fast growth of the direct and indirect sales team. Mentor and motivate team members to onboard quickly and grow their careers at Evolv.
Requirements
You are a sales ops rock star with a minimum of ten years of relevant experience in direct and channel sales operations who has the leadership track record to lead a growing team. You are equally comfortable building pivot tables and putting together board slides and you are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and assume a wide range of responsibilities. You have developed global customer facing processes that demonstrate the understanding for common core and flexibility to accommodate business and cultural differences. You are a clear and concise communicator who can synthesize data to make a complex story simple to understand. You have driven successful cross-functional initiatives that delivered measurable value while developing the skills of your team members. You share a genuine enthusiasm for Evolv’s mission to make the world safer. You have a bachelor’s degree, ideally in an analytically focused discipline, and can demonstrate the following:
