We are looking for a talented, creative, and driven person to coordinate and deliver training activities that will help maximize our global sales team's performance. The ideal candidate will be a high-achieving, organized self-starter to help us expand our sales skills training programs. As a key leader on the Sales Enablement Team, this person will work to drive collaboration and effectiveness for the sales organization.
The Director of Global Sales Coaching is responsible for developing highly effective sales content, mentoring new salespeople, designing individual and team training courses, and preparing educational material. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sales techniques and the ability to motivate employees of varying seniority. Ultimately, you and your team will help our salespeople develop their skills and achieve their quotas. This position requires a self-starter with a unique blend of proven training development and delivery skills, communication skills, and management experience.
This position operates cross-functionally as part of a global team of Sales, Sales Training, Sales Productivity, and Sales Operations and will act as the point person for developing and delivering sales coaching content aligned with the Healthcare and Enterprise business segments.
Responsibilities:

  • Direct and monitor the activities of a team of sales coaching professionals to plan, design, and deliver field sales training in support of company, division, and line of business initiatives.
  • Oversee the development, administration and coordination of specific training schedules and programs, including new hire training and ongoing sales process and sales skills training.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness and relevance of training materials and programs, assess content to determine appropriate instructional procedures or delivery methods, and make appropriate changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal and external resources to create, update, and deliver training programs and materials that are effective and designed to improve the overall productivity of the sales force.
  • Drive a consistent approach to obtaining and consolidating sales feedback to regularly identify areas of improvement in sales skills development, while working cross-functionally to develop a plan to rapidly close any gaps.
  • Produce and deliver sales process and sales skills training in various formats (online self-paced, webinar-based, classroom), using gamification, role-playing activities, and job simulation.
  • Ensure close alignment of sales skills training objectives and overall segment go-to-market strategy.


About You:

  • 10+ years with a minimum of 5 years as a Sales Coach in a technology company, in classroom, field, and online settings, 2-5 years in a sales or customer-facing role
  • Demonstrated leadership experience to develop and empower teams to be self-sufficient
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Management, Instructional Design, Education, Marketing or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with an aptitude to test, measure, analyze and adapt as a means of assuring a highly scalable and continuously optimized program
  • Expert in project management and communication skills with experience driving timely deliverables with internal and external teams
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional design best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong PC skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Camtasia, as well as online learning software
  • Demonstrated ability to work comfortably and effectively with multiple levels of management
  • Acute attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment
  • Amazing public speaking skills and ability to give lessons in front of small and large groups in person and virtually
  • Up to 50% travel.
