Job Summary

We are seeking a Client Solution Lead who can deliver on our vision of a data management technology platform that will democratize access to health care data for our clients.  We are currently focused on delivery of the initial product.  The Client Solution Lead is a strategic and enthusiastic solution-driver who puts our enterprise customers at the core of everything we do. This is an outstanding opportunity to build and manage key client relationships, be a platform expert, and work closely with leads to establish scope and implement.  As a Client Solution Lead, you will have deep command over the Abacus platform architecture and how the platform can deliver value to large enterprise clients. Success in this position requires strong consultative technical skills, a focus on client service, deep enterprise architecture expertise, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment delivering against tight deadlines

Job Responsibilities & Duties

The role requires a strong work ethic and will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

The Client Solution Lead will:

  • Build relationships with and partner with technical stakeholders (including CTOs and CIOs) during sales and discovery conversations
  • Gather information from technical customer teams to understand the current state of their data systems, define product requirements for the Abacus platform, develop technical solution architecture diagrams, and ensure that sales are scoped appropriately
  • Communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a way that is easy to understand
  • Provide input to establish timelines, milestones, budgets, and personnel requirements during the sales process
  • Work closely with customers to understand and capture business/technical requirements and provide project plans to agreed timeframes
  • Work with Product Management to feedback on issues with current products and provide input
  • around new products for the platform

 

Job Qualifications & Preferred Skills/Experience

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in technical consulting, enterprise architecture, sales engineering, or as product/implementation specialist
  • Understanding of enterprise systems and data architecture, particularly in healthcare
  • Experience leading technical sales and implementations in the healthcare industry (preferably in the health insurance sector with BCBS plans)
  • Experience working in unstructured, fast-paced, cross-functional, collaborative environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders across client and internal teams
  • Excellent communication skills when interacting with both technical and non-technical individuals
  • Ability to deliver results without direct supervision authority through influence
  • Ability to make hard decisions when prioritizing or de-prioritizing work and being accountable to the results
  • Strong “data-driven” perspective using metrics to guide decisions
  • Creates outstanding working relationship with all stakeholders and decision makers
  • A willingness to work outside their standard comfort zone and support a variety of roles in order to deliver for the corporation and/or client
  • Able to demonstrate business and technical acumen with the ability to understand and interact with software applications
  • Comfort in, and experience with the challenges of a growing and scaling company either as a new company or within a larger organization
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • You are a self-starter, have professional maturity, thrive in fast paced environment and are knowledgeable in a highly technical environment. Ability to cope under pressure and prioritize work accordingly

Highly Desirable Requirements:

  • Project management experience a distinct advantage
  • Working knowledge of current security issues and technologies concerning the industry, together
  • with a demonstrable interest in keeping abreast with technical developments in this field. Knowledge of relevant healthcare security regulations such a HIPAA, HITRUST and other regulations and standards such as PCI, ISO, NIST and SOC.
  • Have or be in process of obtaining advanced certifications pertinent to area of expertise such as: (CISSP, CISM, GCIA, or other Security Professional certifications)
  • Working
  • Strong experience working in cloud environments
  • Experience with various types of software architectures including microservices

 

Compensation

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
