Superpedestrian is seeking a Business Development Associate at our Headquarters in Cambridge, MA. The candidate must be self-starting, entrepreneurial, and able to bring in new thoughts on strategy and business partnerships. This role will work directly with our VP of Business and Corporate Development. You will be responsible for helping to set and accelerate our research and company strategies while executing on partnerships, sales conversations, and much more. Most importantly, you must embrace a fast-paced, hard-working startup environment, and possess the desire and ability to evolve projects quickly.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of work experience
• Ability to quickly gain a technical understanding of our hardware and software products
• Desire to work cross-functionally with sales, design, software, finance, and ops teams
• Strong ability to tell a story in a deck or other medium
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize fast-changing markets
• Passion for building the future of micromobility

What you’ll do:

• Work directly with the VP of Business and Corporate Development
• Quickly create presentations and other materials while maintaining attention to detail
• Help to strategize, source, negotiate and execute on a range of partnerships and collaborations with players in the micromobility ecosystem
• Conduct extensive market and customer research to support strategy, product, and sales
• Source new strategic relationships through networking, conferences, referrals, and outreach
• Regularly communicate externally with customers and partners via phone, email, and in-person
• Prepare materials for internal strategy sessions
