Sales Tax Consulting Manager - State and Local Tax (SALT)

EisnerAmper is seeking a Sales Tax Consulting Manager to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and at providing clients with exceptional services.

• Managing the sales tax compliance process for clients sales tax returns  

• Sales tax research projects 

• Managing information and people related to sales tax compliance  

• Interacting with clients and managing staff  

• Corresponding with state and local tax authorities to resolve client issues  

• Managing registrations and business licenses for clients  

• 6+ years experience with sales tax compliance  

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent field  

• CPA, JD, or Enrolled Agent 

• CMI (sales tax) designation a plus  

• Excellent communication and organization skills  

• Experience with sales tax preparation software such as Vertex or Alteryx 

• Understanding of sales tax issues, including exemption certificate management, tax accruals and reserves, journal entries and use tax issue.

For Minnesota and Illinois, the expected salary range for this position is between $115,000 to $165,000. The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
