Asset Lifecycle Management
Iron Mountain’s Asset Lifecycle Management (ALM) business is responsible for the deployment, management, and ultimate decommissioning and disposition of technology assets. These include hard drives, servers, laptops, tablets, and network devices that contain customer or organizational data that needs utmost safeguarding when they reach their end of useful life.
In the process, ALM takes IT assets to sanitize, clean, and remove the data and recycle or repurpose in a sustainable and environmentally sound way.
The Sales Support and Administration Profession I is a sales position responsible for Supporting sales representatives and channel partners in administrative areas such as order processing, customer quotes, sales information management, product training and financing. In this position you will spend the majority of your time monitoring our ALM inventory, creating sales orders, and communicating with customers. You will need to use discretion on when to work with various departments to resolve issues in a timely manner. You will need to use discretion on when to communicate, as well as use a consultative approach to understand the customer’s needs in order to develop a long term relationship. Success in this role is measured by hitting and exceeding monthly sales quotas, and consistently staying ahead of activity metrics, all in a team-focused environment.
Responsibilities:
Completing daily activities and supporting team members when needed.
Able to set priorities to ensure task completions that need to be done in a timely manner; coordinate with other team members when projects arise.
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate course of action.
Works on issues where analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors.
Process and track customer orders from entry to delivery, which may include following up to ensure orders are completed and shipped in a timely manner.
Coordinate with internal teams (logistics, finance, marketing) to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Prepare sales report or other reports as requested by Sales team.
Track deadlines and ensure timely completion of sales-related activities.
Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A self-starter, driven, with strong interpersonal skills
Strong time management and multitasking abilities
Ability to analyze sales data and generate reports
Strong critical thinking skills to resolve customer or order issues
Proactive approach to identifying process improvements
Well organized to handle the influx of sales orders at any given time
Business knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's sales. Aligns unique insights to meet each individual customer needs
High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with various members of the organization and own team members
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Drive) but not required
Education: High School Diploma
