VEGA Americas, Inc. is a fast-growing organization looking for an Outside Sales Representative covering the Midland, TX market, including Big Springs & part of the Permian. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals looking to launch a career in industrial sales. The primary purpose of this role is to build customer relationships, drive sales growth, and develop the foundational skills necessary for long-term success in outside sales. The Tier 1 Sales Representative will receive comprehensive training, mentorship, and hands-on experience while promoting VEGA’s innovative sensor solutions within an assigned territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Other duties as assigned by management.

  • Support the execution of strategic sales plans to help drive customer acquisition and revenue growth in your territory.
  • Learn and promote VEGA’s complete line of industrial sensor products and solutions.
  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through outreach and research.
  • Develop strong customer relationships by applying VEGA’s IMPACT sales process and becoming a reliable point of contact.
  • Attend sales visits, product demos, and meetings with experienced sales staff to gain hands-on experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities using VEGA’s CRM system (TopVis).
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and assist with basic issue resolution to ensure customers receive an outstanding VEGA Experience.
  • Collaborate with internal technical and sales teams to provide well-rounded solutions to customer challenges.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings to better serve customer needs. · Participate in team huddles and contribute to continuous improvement discussions.
  • Drive 16 Quality Sales Visits each week based on phone and in person prospecting.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma;
  • OR One (1) to Two (2) years of related experience or equivalent 

Technical Sales Reps receive:

  • Sales Training Program
  • Laptop, iPad, and iPhone
  • Eligible for our Auto Program

Must reside within the market.  

Spanish language fluency preferred
