Seismic is looking for a highly motivated Sales Operations Manager to help define the Sales Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy, provide strategic analyses and instill operational thoughtfulness to our Sales organizationYou will lead key parts of the strategic planning process, alongside sales processes and insights. You should be highly analytical and able to work directly with sales leadership and cross-functional stakeholders. You will use data and qualitative information to help our Sales leadership manage the business. You will support essential aspects of our GTM design and annual planning process. You will help build our analytics foundation including executive reporting, health of the business reviews, dashboards and indicators. The role will report to the Director of Sales Operations.

This is an Individual Contributor role.

What you will be doing:  

  • Support the cadence of the business: Annual Planning, Quarterly business reviews, Weekly Forecasting calls and Pipeline reviews.  
  • Be a trusted business partner to the Sales GTM leadership by defining, tracking, and implementing goals, programs and strategies at scale. 
  • Lead executive analyses, strategies, and deliverables. 
  • Provide visibility and performance tracking to the business (Ops councils, Ops reviews, rep efficiency and productivity indicators, dashboards). 
  • Partner with Finance and Revenue leaders on the Operating Model, and own bottom-up models.   
  • Help build our data and reporting foundation. 
  • Improve operational efficiency by automating and improving processes, in partnership with other Sales Ops teammates and the Systems team. 
  • Partner with the enablement team on sales training.     

What you bring to the team:   

We are looking for a self-motivated and highly analytical Sales Ops leader, a doer who thinks strategically and can also dive deep into challenges to get things done. This is a person who is a true business partner to senior Sales leaders, and who has a proven track record supporting fast-growing SaaS organizations.   

  • 7+ years of experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in Sales Operations, with a preference toward B2B SaaS experience, especially in the “scale-up” phase.  
  • Proven expertise developing and improving complex operating models, using advanced Excel functionalities.  
  • Propensity to summarize complex concepts and data and present clear information to executives, teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Process expert: Envision E2E process change to solve our needs, drive agreement, document requirements, guide execution in partnership with IT, perform UAT, and report on progress.  
  • Advanced proficiency in BI and sales tools (e.g. Salesforce, Tableau, Lookr).
  • Investment banking, strategy consulting, business operations experience a plus.
  • Experience designing and implementing new sales methodologies and processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field. Master is a plus.  
  • Excellent communications skills including presenting, editing, and writing with attention to detail required.
