Job DescriptionThe Sales Operations - Deal Desk Specialist governs complex, high-value, and non-standard sales opportunities to ensure they are complete, compliant, and ready to progress through the sales lifecycle. You will serve as the primary point of coordination between Sales and partners during deal formation, managing approvals, dependencies, and timelines.
In addition to deal execution, the Deal Desk Specialist identifies opportunities to improve deal governance, reduce friction, and ensure scale through process improvement and automation. You will report to our Senior Manager of Sales Operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intake of complex sales opportunities to ensure completeness and readiness for review
- Collect, review, and validate supporting artifacts, including related agreements, previously approved pricing, and prior compliance or vetting reviews
- Manage collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, including Contracts/Legal, Pricing, Compliance, Vetting, and Billing
- Promote communication between Sales and internal partners during deal structuring and approval
- Support Sales with follow-up items required to advance opportunities through approval workflows
- Track deal progress and dependencies, holding team members accountable to timelines and Service level agreements
- Ensure all required approvals are secured, documented, and recorded before opportunities progress through sales stages and execution
- Identify recurring issues, bottlenecks, and quality gaps in deal execution. Recommend process improvements and opportunities for automation
- 5+ years experience supporting complex B2B sales processes, deal governance, or revenue operations
- Experience working with multiple teams and internal partners
- High judgment, attention to detail, and ability to operate in ambiguity
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Demonstrated ability to identify and drive process improvement initiatives
