Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sales Operations and Logistics Coordinator to be a key member of our team. This role is the critical link between our sales team and our operational execution, ensuring that orders from our national retail partners and E-commerce channels are processed flawlessly. The ideal candidate will excel at managing order systems, coordinating basic logistics, and ensuring the seamless fulfillment of sales orders. This is an operational role perfect for someone who thrives on process and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Sales team to ensure accurate and timely processing of all retailer purchase orders from receipt to fulfillment.
  • Participate in weekly purchase order review meetings with sales team members.
  • Manage the full cycle of order entry in our systems, verifying pricing, quantities, and requested ship dates.
  • Handle basic logistics coordination, including completing routing transactions and providing accurate shipment data to our logistics partners.
  • Process and manage orders from our E-commerce fulfillment platforms, ensuring inventory levels and order data are accurate.
  • Participate in inventory management routines to ensure sufficient inventory levels needed for all outbound orders and report out-of-stock items to the production team.
  • Serve as a primary internal contact for order status inquiries from the sales team and retail partners.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to organize and dispatch product samples and marketing materials to support sales initiatives.
  • Maintain meticulous records for all customer orders and assist with recordkeeping.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects aimed at improving the order-to-cash process.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a role focused on order processing, sales support, or logistics coordination, preferably within a consumer food or beverage company.
  • Experience with E-commerce order management systems and fulfillment processes is preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • A proactive and quick learner with the ability to master new systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with internal teams and external partners.
