We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Manager to join our team. The Field Sales Manager will be responsible for driving profitable growth within a defined geographic area. Leading a team of Sales Leaders, this role focuses on increasing insurance policy production through effective business-to-business sales techniques. What does a FIELD SALES MANAGER do at GAINSCO?- Ensure your team meets daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Monitor Salesforce activity and provide coaching for continuous improvement.
- Expand agency footprint and engage new agents while serving as the primary relationship manager for GAINSCO.
- Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to maximize performance.
- Review reports and implement actions to improve agency engagement and production.
- Identify opportunities for growth and execute targeted initiatives.
- Coach, mentor, and train sales professionals to achieve excellence.
- Drive employee engagement and foster a positive, high-performance culture.
- Manage staffing needs, recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
- Represent Sales in cross-functional projects and company initiatives.
Education/ Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor), or CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) Insurance Designations required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years managing the sales process and operations within a territory or region specifically for a Non-Standard or Personal Lines Auto Insurance industry, including responsibilities such as developing sales strategies, analyzing performance metrics, and driving territory growth is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct people management experience, leading a team of sales professional is required.
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is required.
Other skills and abilities:
- Ability to create Salesforce Reports and Dashboards for team leverage.
- Ability to represent Sales on specific projects and share input about project/program design.
- Ability to influence agents and large groups, resulting in increased territory production.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strategic planning and disciplined follow-up skills.
- Ability to analyze product data and identify market trends.
- Willing to travel as required.
- Remote.
- Must have valid Driver License.
