The Opportunity
We're looking for a Sales Manager (SMB) to lead a high-performing team of SMB Account Executives. This team is passionate about helping small and mid-sized ecommerce businesses grow - and you'll help guide and elevate that impact every day.
You'll coach, develop, and inspire your team to exceed revenue goals while building a culture grounded in curiosity, transparency, and accountability. You'll also play a key role in scaling Klaviyo's presence in the SMB market - where every customer interaction truly matters.

What You'll Do
  • Hire, onboard, and support a team of SMB Account Executives to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Work closely with Sales Enablement to coach your team on pipeline management, deal strategy, and product storytelling.
  • Use data to guide your decisions - spotting trends, addressing challenges, and helping your team level up.
  • Partner with Marketing, Partnerships, and Customer Success to create a seamless journey from first touch to renewal.
  • Be a culture ambassador - lead with empathy, grit, and Klaviyo's values every day.
  • Host regular 1:1s and give clear, actionable feedback to help your reps grow in their careers.

Who You Are
  • You have 3-4 years of experience managing SMB or commercial sales teams in a SaaS environment - ideally with a product-led growth (PLG) motion.
  • You're a coach at heart - you love helping people grow and thrive, and have a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • You're analytical and operationally strong - you know how to forecast and identify ways to improve performance.
  • You're adaptable and open to change - you see ambiguity as a chance to create clarity and move things forward.
  • You're curious and customer-obsessed - you think like a product or marketing leader, not just a sales one.
  • You lead with empathy and hold high standards - your team looks up to how you show up, not just what you've done.

Our salary range reflects the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all our US locations. The base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant's job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.
In addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, variable compensation (OTE) for sales and customer success roles, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
