About You
HiBob is looking for an outstanding sales manager who will be based in our New York City office. The ideal candidate will drive sales activities for our SaaS-based offerings.
In this role, you will support your team in prospecting and penetrating potential accounts while managing a team of outbound SMB Account Executives directly. You must thrive in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment, possess extensive knowledge of HR industry workflows, and effectively communicate the differentiated value of our platform.

Requirements & Location Details:
- Office Requirement: Candidates must be located in the NYC Metro Area and willing to work in our Toronto office 2–3 days per week.
- Compensation: Base salary range is $130,000 - $165,000 USD + variable compensation.
- Pay Equity: Individual pay decisions reflect depth of experience, qualifications relative to incumbents, and location.

Requirements are often considered a measure of how equipped you are to do the job, but sometimes, they aren’t the only factor. If you don’t have all the skills or exact years of experience, we’d still love to hear from you.
- Sales Leadership: 1+ years of sales leadership experience with a proven track record of recruiting, building, and leading high-performing sales teams in a SaaS environment (startup experience highly preferred).
- Sales Execution: Demonstrated success as an individual contributor and sales leader, preferably within a hyper-growth SaaS company, with a proven ability to accurately forecast and consistently hit revenue targets.
- Methodology: Deep understanding of value-based selling and modern sales frameworks (e.g., Challenger, Sandler).
- Domain Expertise: Past experience within the HR-tech, HR software, or SaaS industry highly preferred.
- Pipeline & Closing: Strong "hunter" mindset with exceptional negotiation skills and a track record of driving the full sales cycle.
- Mindset & Communication: Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, paired with strong business integrity, resourcefulness, and a collaborative team-player attitude.
Job responsibilities
Leaders at HiBob play an important part in the growth of our organization as we expand and scale. You'll build, develop and lead a high performing sales team and encourage collaboration with various business units to achieve sales targets.
What will you do?
- Team Leadership: Manage, grow, train, and lead a high-performing outbound sales team.
- Quota Achievement: Achieve annual team sales quotas and quarterly targets, delivering regional bookings through prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing.
- Relationship Management: Manage prospective customer relationships across all phases of the sales cycle.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain continuous forecast and pipeline accuracy within Salesforce.
- Team Alignment: Communicate, educate, and engage the sales team regarding new initiatives and planned activities.
- Pipeline Generation: Prospect, initiate, and perform outbound activities to build a robust revenue pipeline.
- Industry Engagement: Lead meaningful conversations with prospective customers around key HR-tech needs and pain points.
- Qualification: Target key decision-makers to determine buying readiness and project timelines.
- Network & Partnerships: Network with market influencers, consultants, and industry partners.
- Market Insights: Report market feedback and competitive analysis to cross-functional teams to assist in product development.
