About the Job: 

Join us as a Sales Manager, New Customer Acquisition, where you'll lead our Quality Assurance (QA) Customer Acquisition team in expanding our client base beyond the Qt ecosystem. Based in either Boston or Dallas, you'll be a pivotal part of both the regional sales leadership team and the broader QA Sales Community, with a reporting line to the QA Business Unit in Finland.

Ideal candidates are dynamic sales leaders with a history of accomplishment in software sales who embrace agility and understand software development processes and challenges. Previous experience in software quality assurance products is advantageous.

You will:

  • Lead and develop the New Customer Acquisition team for QA business in the US
  • Possess deep knowledge of the Software Quality Assurance tools market in the region and effectively communicate business needs to senior leadership
  • Articulate the advantages of our QA software products over competitors
  • Engage and influence stakeholders across all organizational levels, particularly at the executive and C-level
  • Drive the sales process from planning through to closure
  • Develop regional go-to-market strategies and explore innovative customer prospecting approaches
  • Prepare comprehensive action plans, performance reports, and business plans for company leadership
  • Formulate commercial strategies, including pricing, negotiations, and customer contracts

About You

  • 8+ years of tech/SaaS sales experience, preferably in software engineering, with experience managing a sales team preferred 
  • Familiarity with quality assurance software products and services is highly preferred 
  • Proven ability to manage personal sales pipelines and achieve results, fostering satisfied, loyal customers
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on exceeding objectives and business targets
  • Experience in strategic enterprise sales within a global organization
  • Proficiency in new business acquisition and ability to train sales teams on net new hunting 
  • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Software Quality Assurance tools
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical or business field preferred
  • Sales training, preferably MEDDIC/MEDDPICC
