Position Summary
The Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving Genpak’s growth by managing and expanding a defined sales territory or segment. This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships, developing strategic partnerships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of foodservice packaging and a consultative sales approach.

Key Responsibilities
· Territory & Account Management
o Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with company growth objectives
o Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic distributor, operator, and end-user accounts
o Evaluate promotion program opportunities, recommend high potential programs, and manage promotion spending.
o Conduct regular customer meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
o Prepare and communicate business reports to management
· Sales Execution & Growth
o Achieve or exceed sales targets through effective pipeline management and account penetration
o Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long-term customers
o Evaluates promotion program opportunities, recommend high potential programs, and manage promotion spending.
o Support pricing strategies and contract negotiations with key stakeholders
· Customer & Market Intelligence
o Provide market feedback on customer needs, competitive activities, and product trends
o Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to deliver customer-driven
solutions
o Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and Genpak’s product portfolio
· Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Partner with internal teams including Marketing, Customer Service, R&D, and Operations to ensure customer satisfaction
o Work cross-functionally with customer service in handling customer complaints
o Lead cross-functional account reviews and business updates with major clients
Preferred Qualifications
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
· Minimum 5+ years of sales experience, B2B a plus
· Proven track record of sales growth and account development
· Strong understanding of distributor networks and operator relationships
· Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
· Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office, and sales reporting systems
· Willingness to travel up to 50% (territory dependent)
