We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive new revenue growth across the US enterprise market for DEUNA's payments and AI platform. This is an individual-contributor, quota-carrying role focused on acquiring and closing large enterprise accounts through complex, consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. The ideal candidate has a proven track record selling payments solutions (orchestration, acquiring, gateways, fraud, checkout optimization) to enterprise clients and consistently exceeding quota.
Responsibilities:
- New Business Acquisition: Own the full sales cycle end to end — from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close — to land new enterprise logos in the US market.
- Enterprise Account Strategy: Build and execute territory and account plans targeting large retailers, e-commerce, and marketplace accounts, mapping and engaging multiple stakeholders up to C-level (CFO, VP of Payments, Head of E-commerce).
- Consultative Payments Selling: Position DEUNA's value around payment orchestration, checkout conversion, approval-rate optimization, fraud reduction, and PSP/acquirer integration, tailoring the business case to each client's needs.
- Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a healthy pipeline; accurately manage opportunities, ACV/TCV, and forecasting within the CRM.
- Quota Attainment: Meet and exceed assigned annual revenue targets.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Monitor payments market trends, competitors, and customer needs to refine positioning and identify opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, solutions engineering, and customer success to align on deal strategy and ensure smooth onboarding.
- Executive Reporting: Provide regular updates to leadership on pipeline health, forecasts, and strategic wins.
- Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with enterprise clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with relevant payments regulations, industry standards, and ethical sales practices.
Experience
- Proven experience selling payments solutions (payment orchestration, acquiring, gateways, PSPs, fraud, or checkout) — general sales experience alone is not sufficient.
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, with a strong track record selling to enterprise accounts in the US market.
- Demonstrated experience closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with enterprise deal sizes (e.g., $100K+ ACV).
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Experience selling into retail, e-commerce, or marketplace verticals is strongly preferred.
- Solid understanding of the payments ecosystem: acquirers, card networks, tokenization, approval/decline rates, chargebacks, and fraud.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) and modern sales productivity tools.
- Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or Challenger).
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of enterprise sales principles and practices."
