We're looking for a data-driven operator to own how performance is tracked, understood, and operationalized across our retail and e-commerce business. As our Sales Insights & Reporting Manager, you'll bring structure to promotional tracking and clarity to performance analytics while modernizing how we work through AI and automation.
This role sits at the center of the consumer business, partnering across Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Demand Planning to turn data into decisions and reporting into a true competitive advantage. Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of weekly sales and promo performance reporting
Own and manage the promotional calendar across retail and e-commerce channels, ensuring alignment to revenue, margin, and profitability goals
Track promo details including dates, pricing, discounts, and funding
Analyze promo effectiveness (lift vs baseline, ROI, margin impact)
Analyze competitor promotional behavior and deliver data-driven recommendations to optimize our promotion strategy
Partner with Finance on promo forecasting, accruals, and actuals
Collaborate with sales to incorporate promos into forecasts
Drive reporting automation and efficiency by leveraging AI tools, including large language models and agentic workflows to reduce manual effort and accelerate insight delivery
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities tied to promotional activity
Required Qualifications
5-7+ years of experience in sales analytics, promotions, or retail analytics
Strong Excel / BI skills (pivots, formulas, data modeling)
Experience working with weekly sales, POS, or promo data
Comfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Ops
Strong attention to detail and ability to communicate insights clearly
Hands-on experience with AI tools (LLMs, workflow automation, or agent-based reporting pipelines)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, or DTC channels
Consumer electronics, consumer hardware, or CPG background
Familiarity with forecasting, margin, or inventory concepts
Experience using pricing or competitive intelligence tools
