A fast-growing logistics organization is seeking a Senior Sales Executive with a true hunter mentality to drive new business across ocean imports, drayage, customs brokerage, and domestic transportation. This is a high-performance, results-driven role with full ownership of pipeline, pricing, and client relationships.
- Build and grow a new business pipeline through cold calling and outbound prospecting
- Close net-new customers across ocean import, drayage, customs brokerage, and domestic FTL/LTL
- Sell value-driven logistics solutions, not rate-based transactions
- Structure profitable deals and manage pricing and margins
- Transition accounts to operations while maintaining strategic oversight
- Consistently hit and exceed revenue and gross profit targets
Requirements
- 5+ years of logistics or freight forwarding sales experience
- Proven track record of hunting, prospecting, and closing new business
- Strong experience selling ocean freight, drayage, customs brokerage, and domestic FTL/LTL
- Strong understanding of pricing, margins, and carrier dynamics
