The Sales Executive will define strategy and drive growth for Musixmatch’s products, achieve revenue targets, and engage prospective clients.

In just one year of service, over 1.5 million artists have signed up for Musixmatch Pro, and we are rapidly expanding its offering, so we are looking for passionate people who can join us in making this service a must-have for the music industry.
We’re looking for a stellar Sales Executive to define strategy and drive growth for Musixmatch’s suite of products and services. You will be responsible for revenue targets for distinct Musixmatch products and services, as well as crafting their value proposition.
Your responsibilities:
Devise and implement Musixmatch’s customer acquisition strategy globally as part of our overall Partner Solutions strategy.
Segment and prioritize prospective clients, including via self-serve acquisition channels up to and including major enterprise customers.
Deliver revenue objectives quarterly and annually.
Proactively engage prospective clients to establish relationships and understand their needs.
Present Musixmatch products and services consultatively to prospective clients.
Work with Musixmatch Product and Partnerships teams to drive market and product development.
Manage and maintain the opportunity sales pipeline.
Support and share know-how with other team members in order to reach business goals and revenue objectives.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in enterprise or consultative sales.
Consistent track record of achieving sales objectives and demonstrable planning and forecasting skills.
Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to ‘read a room’, anticipate questions and issues, and tailor your pitch accordingly.
Strong understanding of the entire music ecosystem, with an established network of connections within record labels.
Personal drive, ability to work independently, a natural problem solver.
Organised and self-reliant: you are comfortable working in a scale-up environment and managing varied demands on your time and resources. You are also comfortable defining new structures and ways of working efficiently.
Excellent relationship-building and networking skills.
Strong communication skills - professional fluency in English, with exemplary verbal and written communication.
Technically literate - you must be comfortable articulating a world-class data service, and you have an aptitude for learning and integrating new technologies into your sales strategies.
Analytical rigor - you must know how to analyze, optimize, and scale your initiatives quantitatively.
Ability to manage high-pressure situations calmly.
