Sales Executive, TeleCheck Solutions

What does a successful Sales Executive, TeleCheck Solutions do? 

As a key member of our sales team, the Sales Executive is responsible for forming strategic relationships with senior business leaders to acquire new clients across TeleCheck Solutions markets. With a proven track record of success in opening new accounts and driving complex solution sales, the Sales Executive aligns prospects' vision and requirements with Fiserv's solutions portfolio to deliver differentiated customer value. Acting as a strategic advisor, this individual must have an extensive understanding of the clients' business, goals, strategies, and industry trends. The primary focus is on helping clients scale their business, leading large, multi-disciplined project teams, and integrating a broad spectrum of innovative payment and technology solutions in complex client environments.

What you will do:

  • Generate new demand, revenue, and profit margin for Fiserv with a target list of new client prospects in our verticals.
  • Establish regular communication with clients at all levels and disciplines, effectively articulating the Fiserv value proposition.
  • Lead multiple opportunities concurrently in various stages of the selling cycle, identifying, executing, and closing new business following the Fiserv sales process methodology.
  • Understand and execute pipeline, forecasting, revenue, and commit to purchase processes with high accuracy, accelerating time to revenue.
  • Build a territory plan, work that plan, and evaluate and revise as required to maximize business opportunities. Lead and develop account strategies, including growth plans, budget, and project timelines.
  • Develop a business case and present client proposals with a set of solutions, financial justification, and expected results to overcome objections and win the business with maximum revenue/margin.
  • Ensure proactive accountability to the client, leading to enhanced client experience. Quickly and effectively resolve client issues with a sense of urgency. Collaborate across the organization to meet client needs.
  • Work in a virtual team setting to coordinate the appropriate resources to meet varying client requirements. This includes account managers, account executives, solution consultants, and implementation/service resources to generate new opportunities and increase the share of wallet with clients.

What you will need to have:

  • 7+ years of experience in sales and/or business development roles across multiple verticals including ACH, Check, and Payment Processes with successful demonstrated performance against quota.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree and/or equivalent military experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships at a senior level with clients, gaining trusted advisor status.
  • Experience in payment solutions or data/analytics sales to enterprise accounts (B2C experience).
  • Travel required: Approximately 40-60%.

What would be great to have:

  • Background in loyalty, gift card, financial processes, data and analytics, card processing, merchant processing, direct bank debit services, prepaid and alternative payments is a significant plus.
