Over the course of the last years Sportradar significantly expanded its range of advertising products & services covering the full acquisition funnel. Today our proprietary multi-channel Marketing Platform enables ambitious clients worldwide to more effectively and efficiently engage, acquire and retain customers – both as self-service and managed-service.
Sportradar is now looking to recruit an experienced Sales Executive to join the team and drive adoption of our advertising products & services from sports-interested brands in the North American ecosystem.
THE CHALLENGE:
- Identify, prospect, and grow our business with brands engaging with sports in North America helping unlock marketing performance and/or brand awareness
- This role will play a pivotal part in driving sales activity focusing on our digital advertising tech stack that includes all Programmatic Channels as well as Paid Social and Search services
- The role will also be responsible for driving brand investment/participation in the FanID platform, and specifically those interested in advertising campaigns as part of their associations with major sports Leagues and Teams in the US
- Lead consultative conversations with CMOs, Heads of Marketing, and agency leaders to demonstrate how Sportradar can solve business challenges and fuel customer growth.
- Own and drive the sales process for significant recurring investment from key brand-owners and their agencies
- Take charge of the sales cycle from discovery, prospecting, preparing, pitching through to gaining commitment and contracting
- Build a robust pipeline, accurately forecast revenue, and ensure long-term business growth through recurring partnerships.
- Support and consult product teams to optimize our products and services from a sales perspective and shape the go-to-market narrative
- Define, test and optimize business and pricing models with attractive offerings for key clients or partners and profitability contribution for Sportradar
- Be part of Sportradar’s global sales team, collaborating and sharing best practices as you establish and evolve the company’s ad-tech capabilities for sports-interested brands
- Actively engage in the sports advertising ecosystem, interact with key players, establish key relationships and gain deep understanding of the setup and needs of all stakeholders
- Represent the division and company externally at events and meetings
- Both domestic and international travel is required
ABOUT YOU:
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in selling digital marketing solutions, marketing business development or marketing agencies is highly beneficial
- A proven track record of sales, building strategic partnerships, establishing new business pipeline and building long-term relationships with major blue-chip clients and agencies
- Strong background in sales and digital marketing ecosystems (programmatic, paid social, CRM, performance marketing)
- Demonstrated success establishing new business and digital media business models
- Ability to translate complex ad-tech solutions into clear marketing and business value propositions.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong consultative selling skills—credible with CMOs and agency leadership teams.
- Understanding of ad-facing business models
- Understanding of the sports brand and agency eco-system
- Be thought leader within the sports and marketing ecosystem: attend events both domestic and abroad, network with stakeholders, and represent Sportradar as a trusted partner in digital transformation.

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:

Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000 plus sales incentive bonuses
Additional InformationSportradar intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, and location.
