Sales Executive, Card Issuer

About your role:

As a Sales Executive, Card Issuer at Fiserv, you will drive new client acquisition across the financial institution marketplace, including banks and credit unions. You will build strategic relationships with senior leaders, align client objectives with our card issuer solutions portfolio, and lead complex sales opportunities from prospecting through close. Your work will directly support revenue growth and expand our presence in key target markets.

What you'll do:

  • Drive demand generation and product vertical sales activities to build pipeline and achieve sales quotas and line of business objectives.

  • Build and maintain relationships with senior leaders across prospective client organizations by clearly communicating the Fiserv value proposition.

  • Lead multiple sales opportunities concurrently through each stage of the sales cycle, from qualification and solution alignment through negotiation and close.

  • Develop new client relationship opportunities for card issuer solutions within assigned target accounts and priority financial institution segments.

  • Execute pipeline management and forecasting activities with accuracy to support revenue planning and accelerate time to revenue.

  • Partner with internal product, solution consulting, and leadership teams to align client requirements with solution capabilities and differentiated business outcomes.

  • Monitor market activity, competitive positioning, and client priorities within the card services and financial institution landscape to inform sales strategy.

What you will need to have:

  • 7+ years of experience in sales executive, sales, and/or business development roles with consistent performance against quotas across multiple years.

  • 7+ years of experience building and sustaining relationships with senior client stakeholders and aligning business needs to solution offerings.

  • 4+ years of experience in direct selling within financial institution, technology, software, and/or services environments.

  • Experience leading complex sales opportunities through pipeline development, forecasting, negotiation, and close using customer relationship management (CRM) tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Knowledge of solution selling methodologies and large-scale enterprise sales processes.

  • Understanding of the card services market and competitive landscape.

  • Experience using enterprise customer relationship management (CRM) platforms to manage pipeline visibility and sales activity.

  • Ability to influence executive-level decisions and create demand across complex buying groups.

How you'll work:

  • This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.

Travel: This role require frequent travel up to 50% of the time.

Salary Range

$82,700.00 - $175,900.00

These pay ranges apply to employees in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Nevada, Rhode Island and Washington. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.

For commission eligible employees, the successful candidate is eligible to earn commissions pursuant to the terms of the applicable Fiserv Sales Compensation Plan.
