We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Sales Engineer to join our team. The Sales Engineer will play a critical role in driving the sales process by providing technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring our solutions align with customer needs. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, sales experience, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Technical Consultation: Serve as a trusted technical advisor to prospective customers, understanding their requirements and articulating how Portnox's solutions can address their challenges.
- Product Demonstrations: Conduct compelling product demonstrations, showcasing the features and benefits of our solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with customers and internal teams to design and propose tailored solutions that meet specific customer needs.
- Sales Support: Assist the sales team in responding to RFPs, preparing technical proposals, and providing technical input during the sales cycle.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners, ensuring a deep understanding of their business objectives and technical environments.
- Training and Enablement: Provide technical training and support to customers, partners, and internal sales personnel to ensure successful adoption and utilization of Portnox solutions.
- Feedback Loop: Communicate customer feedback and insights to product management and engineering teams to inform product development and enhancements.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales engineering or similar technical role, preferably within the cybersecurity or network access control domain.
- Cybersecurity experience required.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in network security concepts, including authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) services.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and solutions.
- Experience with zero trust security frameworks and network access control solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing customer challenges.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to support sales activities and customer engagements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Portnox or similar network access control solutions.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, or equivalent.
- Experience working with cloud platforms and services.
