We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at Sentra. In this role, you will act as a bridge between our sales and technical teams, play a crucial role in showcasing the value of our solutions to prospective clients and ensure successful implementations.


Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales cycle, from architecture reviews to deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrate the capabilities and benefits of Sentra's products and services.
  • Collaborate closely with the product team to provide insights from the field and influence the product roadmap to better meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategic plans for achieving sales objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to drive customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings to inform product development and sales strategies.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales roles, in the cybersecurity or data management industry.
  • Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, GCP and Azure), as well as DevOps tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform. 
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Deep understanding of data security principles and technologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks and data security/privacy requirements - an advantage.
