As a Sales Engineer at Neara, you will be responsible for providing our customers with expert consulting and advice, and assisting our sales team in achieving strategic targets and growth objectives. You will actively participate in developing relationships with new customers at a variety of levels.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Develop a strong understanding of Neara’s capabilities with the ability to navigate the platform.
Meet with customers to discuss their unique problems and proactively develop commercially viable, pragmatic solutions in our platform.
Strategize with sales teams to create customized solutions and address unique customer and market needs.
Design, develop and deliver technical demonstrations or implementation proofs of concept to customers to demonstrate platform capability.
Work closely with product development teams to identify, prioritize, and test key features prior to release.
Provide sales with expert advice and support technical queries.
Assist in developing customer relationships, in particular with counterparts involved in platform use and implementation.
WHO YOU ARE
Master's degree in Engineering preferred but not essential
4-7 years experience in pre-sales technical roles
Experience with programming concepts (Python, MATLAB or similar)
Understanding of structural mechanics and analysis principles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with sales teams and customers

The expected base salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000 annually. Base salary is just one part of the total compensation package and is determined by factors such as level, market location, skills, experience, and other considerations.
