Description
Hypernative is the category leader in real-time, pre-exploit prevention for Web3 and financial infrastructure. We empower protocols, bridges, and financial institutions to detect and stop threats before they cause losses. Our platform protects billions in on-chain value and is trusted by top DeFi protocols, enterprises, and TradFi players.
Backed by world-class investors and scaling rapidly, We’re looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to be the technical lead in high-value deals, working closely with Sales, Product, and Security teams. This senior, customer-facing role requires deep expertise in Web3, DeFi, and cybersecurity, along with experience engaging with traditional financial institutions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle: discovery, demos, proof-of-value (POVs), and RFPs.
- Explain complex on-chain risk in clear, business-relevant terms to executives, CISOs, and risk leaders.
- Build and deliver customized demos showcasing Hypernative’s prevention-first capabilities across DeFi and institutional use cases.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to technical stakeholders (e.g., protocol engineers, CTOs, security teams).
- Support security, compliance, and integration reviews during enterprise due diligence processes.
- Represent Hypernative at industry events, conferences, and technical workshops.
- Work closely with Product, R&D, and Security Engineering to share customer feedback and shape roadmap priorities.
- Help develop technical sales playbooks, demo flows, and objection-handling strategies.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term adoption.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering or Solutions Consulting, ideally in cybersecurity, infrastructure SaaS, or blockchain security
- Hands-on knowledge of DeFi mechanics (smart contracts, governance, bridges, oracles, L1/L2s) and Web3 ecosystems
- Comfortable working with banks, custodians, and institutional investors; strong understanding of compliance, risk, and enterprise security
- Proven success in fast-paced startup environments; able to build processes and sales narratives from scratch
- Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for both developers and executives
- Revenue-driven mindset with a track record of influencing large enterprise deals ($250K+ ACVs)
