Job Description Summary:

Fusion Connect is seeking a collaborative and highly organized Sales Enablement Specialist - Partner & Sales Training to support the development, onboarding, and ongoing enablement of our internal Sales and Customer Experience teams and external partner community. This role will have primary responsibility for administering and coordinating the partner onboarding experience, ensuring new partners have the knowledge, tools, resources, and training needed to effectively position and sell Fusion Connect solutions.
The Sales Enablement Specialist will also serve as a sales trainer and facilitator, delivering product, solution, sales skills, process, and go-to-market training across Fusion Connect's Sales and Customer Experience organizations and partner ecosystem. Working closely with Product, Product Marketing, Sales, CX, Channel, and other subject-matter experts, this individual will help identify training needs, translate complex product and business information into practical learning experiences, and develop or enhance training content and enablement resources.
The ideal candidate is an engaging facilitator, strong communicator, and organized program administrator who is comfortable learning technical concepts and translating them into clear, actionable content for sellers and customer-facing teams.

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Partner Onboarding & Enablement

  • Own the administration and coordination of the partner onboarding program, providing a consistent and effective onboarding experience for new Fusion Connect partners.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities, training schedules, required resources, system and portal education, and other enablement activities necessary to prepare partners to sell Fusion Connect solutions.
  • Serve as a primary enablement point of contact throughout the partner onboarding process, working closely with Channel Managers and other internal stakeholders.
  • Track partner onboarding progress, participation, completion, and readiness and identify opportunities to improve the onboarding experience.
  • Maintain partner onboarding materials, learning paths, checklists, job aids, and supporting resources.
  • Deliver ongoing partner education following initial onboarding, including product updates, new solution launches, sales skills, tools, processes, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Gather feedback from partners and Channel Managers to continuously improve partner onboarding and enablement programs.

Sales & CX Training

  • Facilitate engaging instructor-led and virtual training for internal Sales, Customer Experience, and other customer-facing teams.
  • Deliver training across topics including product and solution knowledge, sales methodology and skills, competitive positioning, sales tools, processes, systems, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Adapt training delivery based on audience needs, including new hires, experienced sellers, CX professionals, Channel Managers, and external partners.
  • Reinforce learning through follow-up sessions, coaching resources, job aids, knowledge checks, and other enablement activities.
  • Support internal new-hire sales onboarding and ongoing learning programs as needed.
  • Partner with Sales and CX leadership to identify skill gaps and determine where training or enablement can improve seller effectiveness and customer outcomes.

Product Training & Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Establish a strong working partnership with the Product organization to understand upcoming product launches, enhancements, changes, and strategic priorities.
  • Work with Product and other subject-matter experts to identify the knowledge and skills Sales, CX, and Partners need to successfully position, sell, support, and discuss Fusion Connect solutions.
  • Translate product information and technical concepts into practical, seller-friendly training and enablement.
  • Coordinate and deliver training associated with new product launches, product updates, and changes to Fusion Connect's solution portfolio.
  • Help ensure training is delivered to the appropriate audiences at the appropriate point in the product launch and go-to-market process.
  • Gather feedback from Sales, CX, and Partners regarding product knowledge gaps and communicate those needs back to Product and Enablement leadership.

Training Content & Instructional Design

  • Develop and maintain training materials in partnership with subject-matter experts, including presentations, facilitator guides, participant materials, job aids, reference guides, knowledge checks, and e-learning content where appropriate.
  • Apply basic instructional design and adult-learning principles to make training practical, engaging, and relevant to the learner.
  • Convert complex product, process, and sales information into clear learning objectives and easy-to-understand training content.
  • Refresh existing training materials as products, processes, tools, and go-to-market strategies evolve.
  • Maintain an organized library of current training and enablement resources.
  • Support the development of scalable learning programs that combine instructor-led training, self-directed learning, reinforcement, and practical application.

Enablement Program Support

  • Collaborate with Sales, CX, Channel, Product, Marketing, Operations, and other teams to identify and prioritize enablement needs.
  • Support sales enablement initiatives including product launches, sales plays, competitive positioning, sales process changes, and other strategic programs.
  • Track training participation, completion, learner feedback, and other measures to help evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Recommend improvements to training programs based on learner feedback, business needs, and observed performance gaps.
  • Support administration of sales enablement and learning platforms as appropriate.
  • Take on additional training and enablement initiatives as business needs evolve.

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Experience in sales enablement, sales training, partner/channel enablement, learning and development, or a related field.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage both virtual and in-person audiences.
  • Ability to translate technical or complex information into clear, practical training for sales and customer-facing audiences.
  • Strong written communication and content-development skills.
  • Working knowledge of instructional design and adult-learning principles.
  • Ability to develop effective training materials including presentations, facilitator guides, job aids, reference materials, and knowledge checks.
  • Strong organizational and project-management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple onboarding and training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, CX, Channel, Marketing, and Operations teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working with both internal employees and external partners.
  • Ability to learn new products, technologies, processes, and systems quickly.
  • Experience administering onboarding, training, or learning programs strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Education, Instructional Design, Learning & Development, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in sales enablement, sales training, partner enablement, learning and development, or a related customer-facing enablement role preferred.
  • Experience delivering instructor-led and virtual training strongly preferred.
  • Experience developing training or enablement content preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, learning management systems, partner portals, content management systems, and/or sales enablement platforms preferred.
  • Telecommunications, technology, SaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS, networking, or related industry experience is a plus.
