Sales Enablement Specialist – anywhere in EMEA

"Are you looking for an opportunity to create impactful proposals and sales content within a fast growing global consulting organization?"

About the Company

Connor Consulting Partners, LLC is a specialist advisory firm delivering software license compliance and advisory services to a global client base.

We are in an exciting period of growth and organisational maturity. Our line of business is structured so that every person operates at their highest value: Directors focus on client outcomes and commercial growth, a dedicated delivery management function provides the operational infrastructure, and Account Managers and Technical Leads run day-to-day execution with genuine autonomy. The result is a firm where the delivery engine is as strong as the commercial engine.

The Opportunity

Connor Consulting is seeking a Sales Enablement Specialist to create the written and visual assets that help our business development and sales teams win new work. In this role, you will be the connective tissue between our subject matter experts, marketing, and pursuit teams - translating complex consulting capabilities into compelling sales collateral, proposals, and RFx responses that move opportunities forward. You will own a content library that the sales team relies on every day and play a central role in producing high-quality, on-deadline responses to client RFPs and RFIs.

Key Accountabilities

Sales Content Development and Management

  • Write, design, and maintain a library of sales-facing content including pitch decks, capability overviews, one-pagers, case studies, service descriptions, and email templates.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and practice leaders to develop original thought leadership and client-ready narratives that differentiate Connor Consulting in the market.
  • Refresh and tailor existing collateral for specific industries, buyer personas, and stages of the sales cycle.
  • Maintain version control, taxonomy, and discoverability of content within the sales enablement library so the team can find what they need quickly.

RFP and Proposal Response Execution

  • Lead end-to-end development of responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs - coordinating contributors, owning the writing, and producing a polished, on-brand final deliverable.
  • Build and maintain a curated answer library of approved RFx responses, boilerplate language, bios, and qualifications so future proposals can be assembled faster and more consistently.
  • Drive the RFx process: kickoff meetings, content assignments, internal reviews, compliance checks against the RFx requirements, and final production.
  • Continuously improve win-themes, executive summaries, and proposal templates based on feedback from sales, clients, and pursuit debriefs.

Collaboration and Enablement

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, delivery, and leadership to surface new content needs and prioritize the development backlog.
  • Train the sales team on how to use new content, position key messages, and tailor materials for their conversations.
  • Track content usage and proposal outcomes; use that data to refine what we produce and how we deploy it.
  • Opportunity Management & Sales Support
  • Marketing & Campaign Support

Qualifications

    Required

    • 3-5 years of experience in sales enablement, proposal writing, marketing content, or a closely related role—ideally within professional services, consulting, or B2B.
    • Demonstrated experience writing and managing RFP, RFI, or proposal responses from kickoff through final submission.
    • Exceptional business writing and editing skills, with the ability to translate technical or complex subject matter into clear, persuasive prose.
    • Strong project management instincts: comfortable juggling multiple deadlines, coordinating contributors, and driving work forward without constant oversight.
    • Proficiency with standard sales enablement and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, HubSpot or comparable CRM, SharePoint, content management platforms).
    • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.

    Preferred

    • Experience supporting a consulting or professional services sales team.
    • Familiarity with proposal management software
    • Design sensibility and comfort polishing PowerPoint and Word templates so deliverables look as good as they read.
    • Experience using analytics or content scorecards to measure what's working and inform iteration.

    What You'll Bring

    • A writer's eye and an editor's discipline - you sweat the details on tone, accuracy, and consistency.
    • A bias toward structure and reusability: you build assets once and design them so the team can adapt them again and again.
    • Comfort working with senior stakeholders, asking sharp questions, and synthesizing their input into a single coherent voice.
    • Grace under deadline pressure - RFPs land when they land, and you keep the team on track.

    Benefits - Why Connor?

We approach every relationship with purpose, attention, and a little fun! You can expect a flexible working environment, paid mental health days, a generous vacation package, and competitive compensation. What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

    Key Facts About Boston Tech

    • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
    • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
    • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
    • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
    • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
    • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
