Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Support sales directors with finalist opportunities by developing and refining presentations—including building a baseline deck, updating messaging, and creating custom slides tailored to client segments and product alignment—with the goal of maximizing value for prospects and increasing the likelihood of winning new business.
  • Ensure presentation and meeting best practices on both the marketing and sales side. Provide expertise with different meeting platforms (Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, and Webex), to assist market facing teams with presentation meetings.
  • Understand the challenges, goals, and needs of Sales, Strategic Relations, and Client teams to create compelling presentations and tailored content that drive impact for specific use cases and customer segments.
  • Interface between market-facing teams and Marketing to identify gaps and opportunities and help create compelling, segment-specific messaging, slides, and other sales collateral. 
  • Work closely with Marketing to create relevant content for lead generation and with product management to stay updated on product roadmaps and upcoming releases.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate all meetings with presentation teams and sales directors, including kick off calls, deck assembly, dry runs, and any associated print requirements with production coordinator.
  • Leverage tools to effectively streamline the sales processes, automate repetitive tasks, and empower the sales team to work more efficiently.
  • Manage, maintain, and fine-tune slide library and other templated tools for sales presentations.
  • At regular intervals, collect feedback from the sales and client teams to understand their changing requirements and challenges and use feedback to iterate and refine sales enablement programs.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Education and/or Experience

BS/BA and 7+ years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience, and 4 years' of SME in respective areas

Computer Skills

Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office / Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio and Outlook.

Experience with Salesforce or other CRM.   

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Work Location

This position works on-site at the San Diego Headquarters or other company location (or from a remote location with management approval based on business requirements). Must provide adequate support to internal clients; be available for regular interactions and coordination of work with other employees, colleagues, clients, or vendors; as well as be available to facilitate effective decisions through collaboration with stakeholders.

Working Hours

This is an exempt level position requiring the incumbent to work the hours required to fully accomplish job responsibilities and reasonable meet deadlines for work deliverables. The individual must have the flexibility to work beyond traditional hours and be able to work nights, weekends or on holidays as required.  Work hours may be changed from time to time to meet the needs of the business.  Typical core business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

This position requires domestic travel of up to 10% of the time.
