The Sales Enablement Lead (Lead) at Workiva plays a crucial role in empowering sellers to effectively engage and close deals with economic buyers in the offices of finance, accounting, and sustainability. This involves close collaboration with Sales Leadership, Product, and Marketing teams to ensure the sales force is fully equipped with the knowledge and tools needed for impactful customer conversations. 

The Lead drives seller productivity through comprehensive onboarding, continuous training initiatives, and by making critical sales resources readily available. Their efforts directly accelerate time-to-productivity for new sellers and contribute to boosting Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), supporting Workiva's overall Go-To-Market strategy.

What You’ll Do 

  • Partner with Sales Leadership to create a strategic plan to win and drive the cross-functional work streams to create the enablement materials

  • Create and lead one-to-many and one-to-one learning experiences that drive productivity during onboarding and everboarding experiences

  • Work closely with go-to-market stakeholders to create and lead sales-consumable programs 

  • Partner on a daily basis with the the Global Field Coaching team to ensure alignment with the needs of the front-line management team

  • Participate actively in global sales calls, regional meetings and forecasts in order to stay connected with the business, identify needs and provide updates on programs

  • Support the planning, coordination, prioritization, and execution of training activities such as webinars, onboarding, certification and ongoing readiness on key releases

  • Create certifications and practicums that ensure our sellers are prepared for customer engagements 

  • Develop, maintain, and report on key KPIs for enablement programs that align to leading indicators of revenue

  • Work in collaboration with the Creative Operations team to develop, deploy, and maintain learning assets through internal and partner facing platforms

What You’ll Need

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of related experience in training delivery - with a significant portion of that time focused on enabling sales and commercials teams

  • Experience facilitating virtual and classroom training

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent working knowledge and experience in lieu of a degree

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience supporting sales motions such as account planning, opportunity planning and  executing sales methodologies

  • Experience enabling multiple sales audiences on a platform sale with multiple C-Level economic buying audiences

  • Experience with CRM and Sales tools including Salesforce

  • Proficiency building and deploying learning content in learning management systems 

  • Proven track record of building and maintaining scalable programs

  • Understanding of strategic alliance and channel organizations in the SaaS industry

  • Outstanding time management skills - strong business acumen with an ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and proven ability to influence across organizational boundaries

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical buyers

Traveling Requirements & Working Conditions

  • Up to 30% travel for internal training and external events

  • Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office
