This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 2-3 days minimum per week in the office.

The sales enablement lead for custom solution RFPs will join HarbourVest's Institutional Product Marketing team and be responsible for leading Request for Proposals (RFPs) and other prospective investor requests such as follow-up questionnaires and fundraising inquiries in support of our custom solutions.

The ideal candidate is someone who is:
  • Possesses strong analytical skills along with writing, editing, and proofreading proficiencies.
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and project management abilities.
  • Experienced in leading multiple projects, maintaining attention to detail, and working collaboratively.
  • Able to think critically and integrate information from various sources to produce clear and persuasive results.
  • Understands performance analytics and brings a strong level of proficiency with data
What you will do:
  • Coordinate formal inquiries and RFPs from prospective investors for HarbourVest’s custom solutions.
  • Serve as project lead, facilitating kick-off meetings, communicating tasks, generating content, and coordinating team members to fulfill investor requests.
  • Ensure responses align with SEC marketing guidelines in collaboration with Marketing Compliance.
  • Work with internal functional teams (solutions, investments, operations, legal/compliance, etc.) to address various investor inquiries.
  • Perform other required responsibilities.
  • And other responsibilities as required
What you bring:
  • Capable of working independently as well as within a team setting
  • Understands market opportunities, HarbourVest's competitive advantages, and can craft responses for investor inquiries
  • Builds content to support our Separately Managed Accounts, including the relevant investment strategies for each custom solution
  • Edits and proofreads written materials to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and RFP software is a plus
  • Brings institutional and investment background, with additional experience in alternative investments preferred
Education Preferred:
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (BS) or higher degree or equivalent experience

Experience:

  • 8-10+ years of proven experience in investment management/private equity/fixed income/marketing/RFP capacity preferred
