About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director, North America, to lead our US-based team of 7 Account Executives and 2 Customer Success Managers, based in Boston.  Reporting to our VP of Global Sales, this role will have full responsibility for leading and coaching our team of Account Executives in Boston and own, as their key metric, revenue growth in our North American markets. What You’ll Do 
  • Own and deliver the overall US-based sales team's revenue number
  • Drive accountability and performance management within the team, lead forecast calls, pipeline reviews, and assist in the organization of global QBRs for the broader Go-to-Market team.
  • Set clear career paths and support professional development within the sales team.
  • Represent the voice of the US market internally - feeding insights on customer needs, competitors, and market dynamics to global leadership.
  • Work with a set of cross-functional internal team members to deliver operational improvements that support the business and your team.
  • Work with your global peers across Sales, Business Development, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product Management to align our propositions, teams, playbooks, and cadences across the organization. 
  • Assist in the development and execution of short-, medium-, and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Act as the face of the company for the US region: represent the company at industry events, conferences, and key partner activities.
  • Hire, onboard, lead, and mentor the team and make sure they are enabled on the IP Fabric Sales playbook and methodology.
What You'll Need
  • 4+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in a high-performance sales organization selling enterprise software. 
  • 8+ years of experience in an individual contributor role as an AE. 
  • Team building and leadership skills with a collaborative and hands-on approach.
  • Process-driven, with the ability to establish, implement, measure, and adjust new processes and procedures.
  • Experience in PE-backed Network, Cyber, or emerging tech space preferred
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with strategic partners like WWT, Presidio, CDW, etc.
  • A strong understanding of a B2B enterprise software sales environment, including sales tools, content, training methodologies like MEDDIC, and how people buy software solutions.
  • Passion for building stellar onboarding and training programs, leveraging content management and learning management systems.
  • Excellent project management and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to build internal relationships with sales and marketing teams.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn fast and adapt to new and dynamic environments - we are an early-stage startup.
  • A leader who is resourceful, confident under pressure, and has demonstrated knowledge in services, operational support, customer relationship management, and business development.
