Position Summary:

Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial/ Revenue Officer, join our dynamic team and play a key role in driving our customer engagement and sales efforts. We are seeking an experienced and Sales Director with a proven track record of driving revenue and project delivery within the financial institutions sector and within structured products. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, skilled relationship builder, and results-oriented leader who thrives in a fast paced, competitive environment. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading our sales efforts targeting existing customers and increasing our wallet share within the Tier 1 banks. You will also cultivate key partnerships and originate new customers within financial institutions across both buy and sell-side, covering a pre-agreed region.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate appropriate financial institutions, achieve revenue targets, and drive sustainable growth.
  • Potential to lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing team in this fast-growing business

Market Penetration:

  • Identify and prioritize target financial institutions, including banks, credit unions, investment firms, and other relevant entities.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities through strategic networking, prospecting, and relationship management.

Relationship Building:

  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, executives, and stakeholders within financial institutions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure alignment and maximize customer satisfaction.

Problem Solving:

  • Ensure client satisfaction post sale by owning and resolving client queries or pain points.

Solution Selling:

  • Understand the document generation and the changing regulatory environment for structured products and OTC derivatives.
  • Identify unique challenges and needs of financial institutions and position our SaaS solutions as transformative tools to address these challenges.
  • Conduct effective product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops that showcase the value and benefits of our software offerings and platforms.

Negotiation and Closing:

  • Lead negotiations of complex deals, contracts, and pricing agreements with a focus on driving value for both the customer and the company.
  • Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts and agreements are executed accurately and efficiently.

Market Insights:

  • Stay current on industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape within the financial institutions sector.
  • Utilize market insights to refine sales strategies, adapt to changing conditions, and identify new growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
  • Proven track record of 7–10 years in financial markets, ideally with direct exposure to structured products.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of the financial institutions, stakeholder management including regulatory compliance, technology trends, and all associated pain points.
  • Ability to travel as needed to attend industry events, client meetings, and company headquarter.
