Job Description SummaryThe Sales Director for the Gas Power Services ITR East Med & Pakistan (Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Sudan, Pakistan) region will lead the sales team to drive and accelerate GE Vernova’s growth and strengthening market position across the region. Achieve quarterly & yearly Gas Power Services Financial objectives and KPIs. This role will be responsible for the development of a diverse sales team, and the implementation and management of process, policies, and operating rhythms that will responsibly and effectively win commercial orders that are both profitable and executable.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of commercial strategies and provide leadership through the overall Inquiry to Order (ITO) process for all Gas Power Services opportunities within the East Med & Pakistan region. 
  • Develop and lead a team of sales managers to build, negotiate, and close commercial offers regionally.
  • Facilitate R-Process reviews from R0-R3 (including ITO-OTR handover) and ensure compliance to Gas Power risk policies 
  • Implement outcomes from LEAN Action Work Outs (LAWO) and drive other LEAN initiatives that identify improvement areas and drive lean projects for the portfolio
  • Facilitate effective cross-functional working relationships with Gas Power Services Execution Teams, Engineering, Finance, Pricing, Product Management, etc. to achieve business outcomes
  • Lead negotiations for CSA extensions, ensuring continued OEM positioning and protection strategies implementation, customer trust, and ability to drive services campaigns.
  • Strengthen Customer Relationships and built executive-level trust with customers positioning GE Vernova as a long-term partner in supporting regional energy transition goals.
  • Deliver Complex Commercial Solutions and lead cross-functional teams to structure creative commercial offers & growth campaigns, aligning technical, service, and financing components to meet unique customer needs.
  • Shape Market Strategy and provide insights on tariffs, demand trends, and policy shifts in the EMP

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 10 years of Sales/Commercial experience and/or P&L leadership within the power generation sector,

Desired Characteristics

  • 5+ years of experience with leading a team successfully
  • Deep expertise in service agreements and lifecycle solutions
  • Demonstrated leadership experience through either direct or indirect team management 
  • Exhibited success in negotiating and closing high-value deals across the EMP subregion.
  • Ability to define and implement strategic plans, set a vision and rally support around that vision 
  • Clear thinker, strong interpersonal, influencing, and team building skills
  • Proven ability to work well in a global, matrixed environment 
  • Capable of planning and executing major initiatives 
  • Ability to build a connection to key stakeholders and establish credibility quickly.
  • Strong skillsets in: oral and written communication, financial management, contracts fluency, analytics, project management, conflict resolution and organization 
  • Executive level presentation skills with clear and concise messaging 
  • Exceptional people leadership, capable of driving and motivating global team members to succeed
