Grip Security is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our community! We are a fast-growing startup in the software-as-a-service and AI Security industry. We provide innovative solutions to secure the whole organization-to-SaaS surface. (More details: https://grip.security)

Using the newest technologies, we're working on solving a huge problem all enterprises face today; to govern the accessibility of all its employees to all 3rd party vendors (GitHub, SendGrid, Atlassian, and thousands more!), and to make sure there is no leftover/unwanted access to any of the organization's SaaS and AI assets. The SaaS and AI Security field is complex and challenging. Therefore, we're looking for super-talented people, who are not afraid of technical challenges and breaking down barriers to achieve good solutions.

Position Overview

We are seeking a tenured Sales Development Representative who has mastered the art of the hunt. We need a prospector who understands how to break into Enterprise accounts, speak the language of CISOs and CIOs, and generate high-quality pipeline that converts to revenue.

You will play a critical role in our go-to-market strategy, working directly with Regional Sales Managers to target key accounts, drive outbound campaigns, and secure AI risk globally.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Prospecting: Execute high-volume, multi-channel outbound campaigns (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, video) to target Enterprise and Mid-Market security leaders
  • Pipeline Generation: Identify and qualify active buying interest to generate engaged opportunities for our outbound Sales team
  • Messaging Mastery: Articulate the Grip value proposition clearly—specifically how we solve the problems of Shadow SaaS, identity sprawl, and access control
  • Account Strategy: Partner with Regional Sales Managers to map out target accounts (ABS), identifying key decision-makers (CISOs, VPs of Security, IT Directors) and influencers
  • Data Hygiene: Maintain meticulous records of activity and lead data within Salesforce and our sales engagement platforms
  • Market Feedback: Act as the "eyes and ears" of the market, relaying objections and competitive intel back to Product and Marketing
  • 1+ years of experience in an outbound SDR, BDR, or similar sales role (cybersecurity or SaaS experience is a big plus)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to break into enterprise accounts using a strategic, multi-threaded approach
  • You’re curious, coachable, hungry to learn, and not afraid of rejection
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of how to position technology to solve business problems (bonus if you’re familiar with common cybersecurity challenges)
  • Experience using Salesforce, Salesloft/Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales tools
  • Bonus - Experience specifically selling to Information Security (InfoSec) or IT leadership
  • Bonus - Familiarity with MEDDIC, ICEDD, BANT, RACT, or other qualification processes within the environment

Who You Are

  • Experienced: You have 1– 3+ years of proven experience as an SDR/BDR in B2B SaaS (Cybersecurity experience is highly preferred)
  • A Hunter: You don't wait for inbound leads. You are comfortable with high activity metrics and love the thrill of breaking into a cold account
  • Tech-Savvy: You are proficient with the modern sales stack: Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach/Salesloft, and ZoomInfo
  • Articulate: You possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can distill complex technical security concepts into clear business value
  • Resilient: You handle rejection with grace and view "no" as just a step toward "yes"
  • Curious: You have a genuine interest in the cybersecurity landscape and a desire to learn how SaaS identity risk impacts modern organizations

Why Join Grip?

  • Impact: You won't be a cog in a machine. You will directly influence our revenue growth and market share
  • Growth: Ample room for career progression throughout different departments within the company
  • Culture: A collaborative, transparent environment where winning is celebrated
  • Benefits: Competitive base salary + Uncapped Commission, Medical/Dental/Vision, and flexible PTO
